Paul Amerson’s magic performances are evidence of a misspent youth.

Like many youngsters, Paul was given a hand me down magic set from his older brothers. Pieces were missing and instructions were gone. Born and raised in Baytown, Texas, Paul persuaded his parents to take him to “Archie’s Fun Shop” in nearby Houston and the magic bug bit Paul. Paul’s longsuffering parents encouraged his new hobby by taking him to the junior magic club in Pasadena, Texas and traveling the state to attend the Texas Association of Magicians conventions each Labor Day weekend. Neither parent ever thought that this would be a lifelong vocation that provided actual income to his family!

Performing all over the state of Texas doing educational school assemblies, corporate functions, church and family events for the last thirty years has helped Paul realize his true love is in performing children and family shows.
